Have you finished coloring? You don’t have to stop there, you can transform your colorful creations into exciting arts and crafts projects! We have dreamed up 10 unique craft ideas that take your illustrations and turn them into fun, hands-on projects that bring your colors to life.
- Rainbow Snap – Card Game
Turn your colorful rainbow pages into a deck of fun! Select your favorite coloring pages and print two copies of each. Then, color and cut out your favorite rainbows, unicorns, clouds, butterflies, animals – anything you like.
Carefully stick your cut-outs onto rectangular cardboard pieces to make your game cards. Once your deck is ready, you can start playing Snap! Match the cards, and be the first to shout ‘Snap’ when two cards match.
- Make a Colorful Storybook
Turn your free printables into a wonderful storybook! Pick your favorite pages and color them in. Next, arrange the pages in an order that tells a story – maybe the two children holding hands walk along a flower-filled path to reach a rainbow. Turn an ordinary shoebox into a 3D rainbow world using your finished illustrations!
First, find an empty shoebox and stand the box on its side so it becomes an open display. You can color or paint the inside of the shoebox to match your theme.
