Horse Coloring Inspiration

Are you looking for some inspiration for how to color your horses? Below, I have colored my favorite illustration from this series, and I hope it lets you gallop into creativity!

A Happy Horse Playing in a Sunny Field

A happy horse playing in a sunny field coloring page colored in.

This illustration shows a wild horse rearing up on a bright, peaceful day. The horse looks cheerful and playful, as if it is enjoying being outside, with trees, soft grass, and pretty flowers all around it.

If you are coloring this picture yourself, you can use a bright or deep blue for the sky, keeping it lighter near the clouds, and soft whites or light blues for the clouds. The horse can be colored in light brown or golden shades with a darker brown for its mane and tail, adding gentle shading to make it look lively.

Use different greens for the grass and trees to create texture, mixing light and dark tones, and choose bright, cheerful colors for the flowers so they stand out. Using brighter colors and soft shading will help the picture feel fun, warm, and full of life.
