Easter Egg Coloring Inspiration
Coloring is all about expressing your creativity, but if you need some inspiration, I have colored in my favorite illustration from this series. You can use this example as a template to copy, or just a starting point for your own colorful creations!
Simple Easter Egg Painting Studio
When designing this coloring page, I wanted to make something that depicts the charm of easter and the excitement it brings with it. The patterns and the designs on the easter egg are intentionally made geometric with repeating shapes and lines all over the egg.
To color this illustration, I used primary colors in varying combinations to bring out easter celebrations. Blue and brown gradients have been used for the background and the table to add more depth.
If you choose to color this illustration, you can try using white or silver highlighting gel on some repeating patterns like twirls. You can also try adding water drops to create beautiful fluid patterns.
Having a scrap of paper next to you helps so you can experiment with how your colors will look together. You can test out different colors of markers, crayons, or coloring pencils and see how to match them up. One fun experiment is to see how colors look different when they are next to different shades – your purple might look more like blue if you put it next to a bright red! Trying things out on scratch paper can help you find the best combinations to make your coloring page really pop!
You can also experiment with crosshatching – coloring the same section twice in different directions – to see how it makes your colors look different.
Most importantly, make sure to have fun. There is no right or wrong way to color. The only important thing is that you are expressing yourself and having a good time!
