Are you looking for anime coloring inspiration? Below, you will find my favorite illustration from this series, colored in. I hope the bright and vibrant colors spark your imagination and inspire you to create your own masterpiece.
Kawaii Bunny Hugs
When I started designing this coloring page, I wanted to capture the comfort and wholesome side of anime art rather than creating an action scene. I started by creating the girl and giving her a bunny plush. To make the scene feel peaceful, I have given her a gentle smile and a relaxed pose.
The oversized bunny plush helps draw your attention first, while the bed, curtains, pillows, and glowing star decorations help to frame the scene. Together, all these details create a cosy bedroom setting which feels calm, inviting, and full of charm.
When coloring this page, I decided to use soft pastel colors.
Her warm golden hair is paired with a light blue hoodie to create a balanced contrast that naturally highlights the character. I decided to use a cream color for the bunny to keep the scene feeling soft and comforting.
For the background, I used a muted green on the bedding and curtains, while the golden stars add warmth and a subtle magical touch.

One of the most recognizable features of anime characters is their large, expressive eyes. Use bright colors and gentle blending to make them the main focus of your coloring sheet. Leave a small white highlight or use a white gel pen after coloring to create a sparkling effect, and give their eyes a creative expression.
You can also experiment with textures throughout the room to add more detail. Add soft fabric folds to the bedding, subtle knot lines on the striped socks, and long flowing strokes through the hair to emphasize its silky texture.
For the final touch, you can add highlights and shadows. Imagine a warm bedside light shining across the room. Highlight one side of the character, bunny, and pillows. And on the other side, add soft shadows beneath the plush, under the arms, and where the character sits on the bed.
